Over twenty-six years of Navy service. Twenty-three as a Navy SEAL over sixteen years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group, (ST6). Extensive Training and Operations in PSD (Personal Security Detachments) of political and high-ranking military members. Multiple combat deployments, NSWG-1 Sniper Graduate and Instructor, vast use of pistol and AR-15 type weapons. Over half of Clay’s life has been SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) establishing baselines to prevent emergency incidents, but when they happen, react in ways that mitigate casualties to re-establish normal operations as quickly as possible. After retiring from military service Clay has continued developing his background with DOE Behavior Threat Assessment, Sport Event Emergency Management, as well as Critical Infrastructure Management. He has also been conducting and observing school Active Shooter Training for Law Enforcement and School Staff.
